Homecoming is coming! The dance is on Saturday, Sept 26th from 8-10pm in the White Gym. The theme is Midnight in Manhattan and tickets will be $10. Tickets will be sold during all lunches 9/21-9/25 or you can buy a ticket at the door. If you are going to bring a guest from another school you must pick up a guest form from the Main Office.
 
Next week is SPIRIT week! Each day you have a chance to dress up, and potentially win a prize. Here are the themes:
Monday: 2000's Day
Tuesday: Twin Day
Wednesday: College Day
Thursday: Polka dots or Stripes Day
Friday: South Day
 
Aveda Institute for Cosmetology will be visiting on Wednesday, September 16th during Panther Plus in the College and Career Center and during all 3 lunches outside the cafeteria. 
 
Purdue University will be visiting on Thursday, September 17th during all 3 lunches outside of the cafeteria.
 
Hanover College will be visiting on Friday, September 18th during Panther Plus in the College and Career Center and during all 3 lunches outside the cafeteria.

This year, BHSS will again be using the Social, Academic, and Emotional Behavior Risk Screener (SAEBRS). The SAEBRS helps our team understand how students are doing socially, emotionally, and academically so we can provide the best possible support. For middle and high school students, the screener is completed by the students themselves, allowing them to reflect on their own strengths and challenges while giving staff a picture of how to support them.
