PSAT Exam

Families, 

This year PSAT Day is on Wednesday, October 7. On this day all 9th, 10th and 11th graders will complete the PSAT exam, an important practice test for the SAT exam that all 11th graders are required to take in the spring of their junior year. 

Seniors (12th grade) will complete a form in SRT to communicate their choice of alternative college or career-related activity to engage in on that day. Examples include a college campus visit or a job shadow experience.

Please plan accordingly now, to ensure that your 9th, 10th, or 11th grade student(s) can arrive at school ON TIME for PSAT Day Wednesday, October 7th. 9th graders will be assigned to central testing locations such as the Large Group Room based on their last name/SRT class. 10th and 11th graders will test in their assigned SRT classrooms. Please ensure that your student(s) eats breakfast and arrives with both their (charged!) school laptop and charger on that day. 

Please note that passes will NOT be delivered during testing (7:45-10:45 a.m.) on PSAT Day unless there is a true emergency. Ideally all testing will be completed with time to spare prior to beginning 3rd period and all lunches at the typical 10:45 a.m. In the afternoon students will attend each of their other four classes (P. 1, 2, 4, 5) on a shortened schedule from 12:35-2:40 p.m.
