Take a night off from cooking and simultaneously help out The Optimist student newspaper. Visit either location of Bucceto's tonight from 4 PM to close for some tasty calzones, pizza, or pasta. Mention Optimist or present the Dine and Donate flyer available around school. Thanks for your support! 

Kenyon College will be visiting Today during Panther Plus in the College and Career Center.

Butler University will be visiting on Friday, September 11th outside the cafeteria during all 3 lunches.

Interested in playing softball this spring? Fall softball workouts begin today.  Softball workouts will be from 4:00-5:30 at the softball field. All players must have a current IHSAA Physical on file with the athletic department in order to participate. Questions? See Coach Montgomery in room C205.

Congrats to the boy's tennis team. Last night they locked in and won all 12 varsity and JV matches against  Bloomington North. Let's go South!!

Friday night's home FB game will start at 7:30.   Get your ticket on the link above and come out and support the Panthers.
Remember NO pass outs to students --NO Backpacks--NO drink/food brought into the game.    Go Panthers!!


  1. Here is the link to Friday night's FB game—if you want to buy in advance.  We will also have a cash option—no credit cards!   7.00 Grade 1 and up.
  2. Parking for Jeff Hollway in the Brown lot—-enter off Walnut Street--light by the tennis courts.  Security will direct you.
  3. The team bus will need to enter off Walnut Street --light by the tennis courts.    Security will direct you to the place to park.
  4. I will need a pass list of those Adm./coaches' wives to get in free—--must enter at the gate by the baseball field.
   5. No student backpacks—-please announce to your students 
         6.  No student pass outs—-please announce to your students
          7. No outside food/drinks—--please announce to your students
          8.  7:30 pm start and regular ½ time
          9.  We will have water on your sideline
         10. We will have trainers and a doctor on site
         11.  Please let me know how many buses you will bring for the team and for cheerleaders if they plan on attending.
         12.  If you have assistant coaches that will not be on the bus—they will need to park in general parking and walk to field( no room in Brown lot)
         13.  Have a safe trip—-if any questions that I have not answered—give me a call.

Homecoming Dance!
Midnight in Manhattan
Saturday, September 26th
8-10pm in the White Gym
Tickets will be sold the week leading up to the dance for $10 (in advance or at the door)

If students are bringing a guest from another school, they have to get the form in the main office to get their guest approved before the dance.
