The 2026 BHSS Prom will be held on Saturday, May 16th from 8pm-11:30 pm in the BHSS Atrium. Last chance to buy tickets today during lunches in the bookstore. Tickets are $45 and include Post Prom immediately following. Tickets will not be sold at the door. Reminder that if you are bringing a guest that does not go to South, you need to turn a guest form in to the bookstore when purchasing tickets. Tickets can be bought with cash or card.
Don’t let the night end when Prom is over! Head to the Post-Prom at Classic Bowling Lanes for bowling, food, beverages, card and board games, and prizes from midnight to 2 am! All this is included in the price of your prom ticket. Amazing prizes include gift cards from Alo, Target, Dick’s, Feta Kitchen, Dairy Queen, and more! Plus, Lego sets, a smartphone printer, a wireless speaker, and a MacBook Neo! Make plans to be there!
Help needed for Post Prom! Post Prom will be from midnight to 2 am, May 16-17 at Classic Bowling Lanes. We need volunteers to help staff the event and to donate prizes for the raffle. Library books are due today. Please take a moment and look in your backpack for your book and return it to the library. This includes the 50 essays.
Any girls interested in Gymnastics—should sign up in the AD's office by end of school on Monday.
If you are taking APUSH next year, please check the Social Studies Welcome page on South's website for a summer assignment, students can complete the assignment online or on paper, please make sure it's completed on the first day of class and reach out to YOUR APUSH teacher with any questions!
Did you sign up to take Anatomy & Physiology or AP Chemistry next year? If so, please pick up a Summer Homework Packet from Mrs. Floyd in A315 before school is out.
Join Black Culture Club for an end of the year party on Monday, May 18th during SRT in the large group room. Snacks and drinks will be provided!
Yearbooks are ready for distribution for all grades. Please go to room A129 (NOT Ms. Crespo's classroom A122) to retrieve your yearbook at a time that works for you, ideally, come during your lunch or SRT/Panther Plus.
There are limited "extra" yearbooks for sale this year. Get in touch with Ms. Henderson Crespo if you'd like to purchase one before the school year ends.
