The German Club is having a Winter Sock Drive for our school. Donations are accepted in the library today through January 23rd. Choose to give back during this winter! Please, bring only new socks to donate.
 
Attention Academic Super Bowl Members - We will have a meeting after school this Friday, Jan. 16th in Mrs. McDermott-Sipe's room -A212. We will talk about officer positions and team captains. Please plan on attending. 

Boys Volleyball Open Gyms 
If you’re interested in playing Boys Volleyball this year, come join us at one of our open gyms this month! Open to any boys at South. You can meet the coaches, learn/improve your game, and engage in fun competition. Open Gyms in January will be 5-7pm (purple gym) on the following dates:  1/16, 1/23, 1/27, & 1/29. 

Latin Club will meet TODAY after school in Mrs. Shelton's room. Plan to stay until 3:20. There will be snacks.

JUNIORS: Mark your calendars for this year’s School Day SAT on Wednesday, March 4
Completion of the SAT exam is a graduation requirement for all students in the 2026 graduation cohort just as the ILEARN exam was administered throughout the lower grades. This includes all 11th grade students regardless of whether they are enrolled in Hoosier Hills Career Center (HHCC), intend to graduate early, or plan to enroll in a post-secondary college or university. Even if a student has already taken a weekend SAT, they MUST participate in the School Day SAT on March 4. The score from this assessment can be used for college entry purposes. All juniors will complete the SAT exam with their SRT class (or in an alternate location based on state-approved accommodations) here at South on Wednesday, March 4 while our freshmen, sophomores, and seniors will be given enrichment work to complete during testing time.
 
Boys Basketball will play at Columbus East on Friday, January 16th. JV will start at 6pm, with Varsity to follow. Admission is $7 cash at the door, digital ticket with a QR code, or bought at https://ceolympians.com/
