The Winter Formal is tonight from 8:30-10:30pm in the Large Group Room after the Winter Court Basketball Game.  Tickets are $10 and will be sold at the door.  Dress your best, and we can’t wait to see you there!
 
If you are playing on one of Mr. True's Panther Hoop teams, we will have practice Saturday at 3:00-4:30 in the Auxilliary Gym.  Because of the Wrestling Meet, you will have to enter the building through door #20.
  
No school on Monday but don't forget to stop by Pizza X to Xtend-A-Hand to support BHSS Cheer! Every Monday in January, Pizza X will donate 20% of each order to BHSS Cheer when you mention you're supporting BHSS Cheer at the restaurant or select it under the Xtend-A-Hand tab when placing an order online.

 Juniors, if you are interested in having a class period next fall dedicated to working on your college applications, sign up for the course Preparing for Colleges and Careers for next year.  This class period will focus on working on your Common App and essays for college applications with guidance and support.

Are you interested in trying out for the South Softball team this spring? There will be a callout meeting in Coach Montgomery’s room, C205, after school on Thursday, Jan. 23rd. The meeting will begin at 2:45pm and last about 15 minutes. If you have already signed up, you do not need to attend this meeting.
 
Sign up for the 12th annual Poetry Out Loud Competition. See the digital link or Mrs. McDermott-Sipe in room A212 for details. The competition will take place on Thursday, January 30th from 3-4 pm.
