Bloomington Robotics Club

The mission of the Bloomington Robotics Club is that students will design and build a robot that can compete against opponents in a series of specific game-oriented challenges.  Students will design, build, program and test their robot before the competition events, adhering to list of preset rules and regulations.  Much like traditional sporting events, robotics competitions draw large crowds who gather to see which robot will best perform the task it has set out to complete.  The club supports learning functions such as Design (CAD), Manufacturing, Electronics, Marketing, Fund Raising, Team Work and FUN! See Mr. Ericson in the B-Wing, room B217, to sign up.  

How to support us:

Bloomington South Robotics Club needs your support.  There are numerous ways to help us.  An easy to help is to We are part of KROGER COMMUNITY REWARDS program:

The Bloomington South Robotics Club is set up with the Kroger Community Rewards Program. When you use your Kroger Plus Card at check out, a small percentage of the proceeds are donated to the team. This does not affect Fuel Points or other Kroger benefits. 

Follow these instructions to select The Bloomington Robotics Club: 

  1. Visit www.kroger.com and log into your existing Kroger account or create a new one. 
  2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and look for the COMMUNITY column.  Click on Community Rewards. 
  3. Go to 2. Link Your Card to an Organization and then 2. Search for your organization here.  Enter the name Bloomington South Robotics Club or number BM257 in the search bar on the Community Rewards page. 

      4. Click "Enroll" below our clubs listing. Then click SAVE. 

      5.  Verify that your enrollment was saved by clicking my account, then find "Community Rewards" on the left side of the page and make sure Bloomington South Robotics Club is listed. 

Any other means of helping the club with either monetary or in kind donations is always appreciated.
